The driver who wrote the article had no major problems while driving after receiving the vehicle on the 10th. He explained that on the morning of the 12th, when he turned on the engine and was about to leave, the instrument panel was flipped 180 degrees. Afterwards, the car owner said that he turned off the car's engine and turned it on again, and everything was fine.

In fact, this defect is a problem that also existed in the past 4th generation Santa Fe model. The 4th generation Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid models produced in 2021 had a problem with the instrument panel screen intermittently inverting due to misapplication of internal component resistance values in low temperature conditions. Due to this issue, Hyundai Motors has implemented a recall.
It is presumed that this new Santa Fe screen flipping issue is also likely to be the same problem. This is because the problem occurred during a cold start in a situation where the temperature has recently dropped sharply. If the same problem continues to occur, recall measures are expected to be taken as it is a defect that directly affects safety.
